Lovely pic Dove. My amelanchier is in the wrong place (my fault!) so we can't see it from the house.

Good news is that my sister has finally had the result of her so-called 'urgent' brain scan (a month ago) and she's completely normal!!!  Well, as much as anybody in my family is!

Family have just gone home, we're flat out on the sofa, totally exhausted.

So glad to hear the good news @Lizzie27 🥂
I’m sure you’re as normal as most of us ...and more than some 😉

Thanks Dove, it's a big relief to know she hasn't got epilepsy after all and means she can drive again. We're pretty sure it must be one of the heart pills she now has to take that is causing the problem so back to the GP again.

Came in for a cuppa - lovely to hear your good news @Lizzie27 :)
My reason is that JW is currently playing the late, great Ronnie Lane's The Poacher. That takes me back  :)

It's also been good for  grafting but I needed a warm up ;)

Feeling cheerful as it has been a lovely sunny day here after the wet dark misery of yesterday.

He followed it up with the equally brilliant Andy Fairweather Low. Fantastic guitarist.  :)

Don't recall that one but I do have an LP of his - "One for the Road" and i've just found Elton John's "Sleeping with teh Past" LP which I have no recollection of buying or playing.  How does that happen?

Must get the new deck connected to the hifi tho its CD deck is dead so maybe just get a new sound system altogether.

You'd think people would show a bit of common sense @Hostafan1. Oh I forgot - it's the 21st century....

Latest bit of PC idiocy (excuse the pun) is police officers being allowed to opt out of training where swearing or offensive language may be used, in case it upsets them.  How would the poor darlings cope with a road traffic accident where a motorcyclist had literally lost their head??
