My single Slow worm has morphed into 3 - a good sign in my new garden.
    Lawn mower accident
:D   I should be so lucky - can't get lawn mower started so grass is knee high.

    That’s why you’ve got happy slow-worms 😊

Fencing delayed till mid May so might just be able to get the clematis to flower before I have to dig it up. It's a G.2 'Blue Ice' or 'Ice Blue' - I never remember which! A Raymond Evison one.

I've finished redesigning the lawn and sorting out the border on the front garden.  It seemed like a good idea at the time but I have to say I'm shattered and not sure I'll walk tomorrow.

I've decided that this year will be reclamation and hard landscaping. Boring from a planting point of view, but on a positive note, I am sleeping right through the night.

@Obelixx, your wisterias sound lovely, you're lucky to have two.

I have just realised how liberated and relaxed I feel about the garden this year. As we're not opening for charity again, I have all the time in the world to potter about to my heart's content. No more 6 hours in the garden every day - even if it did make me sleep well, B3.

I don't open my garden to the public but I know it's liberating to think that you're not inviting anyone.

Sometimes if I need a reason to be cheerful I look at the traffic reports on busy holiday buildup days and just feel glad that I'm not stuck in it.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I'm not sure if I should be curmudgeonly or antidoted,  but we're just back from the garden centre where we went "Just for ideas", and came out with a bank balance over £70 lighter and a boot load of plants.
