I like that feeling too @B3, I think the only item I forgot was a cucumber but I'm not bovvered.  I have to admit that several Christmas's ago, I succumbed to convenience and bought those frozen roast potatoes in goose fat etc - but then forgot to cook them!
I served up the rest of the Christmas lunch before the penny dropped, we had to make to do with some quickly fried leftover new potatoes - which were actually pretty horrible!

They seem to differ, some are better than others, might depend on the brand I suppose. I very rarely buy them.

RTBC today - no rain, no wind, 8 mile walk with the lad - no shooting, no people - bliss ;)
I hope you're all having a super day whatever it is you're doing :)

RTBC today was watching Oliver . What a masterpiece it is.
Curmudgeonly because it was on 5 so interrupted by adverts for crap I neither want nor need.

I'm knee-deep in quality chocolate.  Some a present from my husband, some a present from myself.  And one of our family presents was a bottle of Canadian maple syrup - much appreciated.

It is absolutely brilliant isn’t it 💕 and yesterday’s My Fair Lady was wonderful too 💕

Sipping Christmas mead from a kuksa and organising all our photos from this year into a best of 2019 file (while waiting for the nappy wash to finish so I can hang it out to dry before bed). Such a hectic year but so many good memories. I hadn't seen most of the photos from my wife's camera so there's a few nice surprises in there.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Took my missus for a mammogram today after she found a lump.  Mammogram and scan confirmed that it's just a cyst and nothing to worry about. :)
