Because it's my garden too, I practise bee plant rotation.
The hardy geraniums are beginning to flower so I can soon get rid of the manky-looking pulmonaria. When the wild marjoram comes out, I can tidy up the geraniums. 😀
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Not moralising Dove.  Just commenting on a curiosity.

Lizzie - we have two large wisterias.  The south facing one has been in full, glorious flower for over a week but has signs of frostbite.  The east-facing one, all of 6 metres  away, is a week behind and not frosted.  Another curiosity.

I know  :) but I don’t see it as curious ... it’s just what happens ... how nature works ... hence ‘Big fleas ... etc’

I suppose I should feel quite relieved that the pervasive over -sentimentalization of so much of the western world hasn’t brought about an attempt to re-educate cuckoos 🤣 😉
