My daughter has a treasure as well, not so much the son!

My step daughter who is expecting a little girl in July is on holiday with her boyfriend, she texted last night and said he’s proposed, she’s thrilled, but being the cynics that we are, we hope it last longer than the 2 years the last one did.
2 years is a lot better than the son of a friend managed.  All his friends tried to warn him not to marry the girl but he wouldn't listen.  Very nice, and very expensive, wedding in the Med quickly followed by her screaming at him on the flight home that "If you won't give me a baby now, I'll find some ****** who will".  She all but managed to get them chucked off the flight!  Marriage was over before the plane landed.

I did get thumped by 'her indoors' once after we were asked how long we had been married.  I said we'd had 10 happy years together, but been married over 30 years.  Can't see what's wrong with that answer actually. :D
