Thanks for all your colourful pics, everyone.
Here's my pic of the day, my malus 'Evereste' in full bloom and swarming with bees, a precious sight!

@Papi Jo that looks very pretty.

Your gardens are all looking so colourful and tidy. Here are some flowers out in mine, which is messier and not as colourful, but it is very big, weeding is like painting the Forth bridge, never ending. Never have enough mulch.

Looking nice, @Busy-Lizzie . What are the flowers in the last pic? Thlaspi?
  • Busy-LizzieBusy-Lizzie Posts: 24,043
It's Iberis, Candytuft in English. I didn't know what Thlaspi was so looked it up and it's what the French call it.

    my pics of the day...
    Geranium renardii
Wisteria just starting to bloom, etc.
First flower just opening up of Clematis 'Guernsey Cream'
Diosma hirsuta 'Pink Fountain' in the pink (pun intended)
Epimedium x versicolor ‘Sulphureum’ end of flowering and new Spring foliage
Exochorda x macrantha 'the bride' and Erigeron karvinskianus acting as bridesmaids!
    Loropetalum chinense in full bloom
  • Your plants are stunning Busy and Papi, the colours are so eyecatching. We have Guernsey Cream clematis too, which is in flower for the first time this year (planted last summer)- I am disappointed with the colour, it should be more cream and less green. There is no green in our Guernsey cream. However the flowers are big and showy, and I hope to have 3 or 4 flowers in a few days time.
