    Hi Edhelka, as you suggest I bought the dierama as a small plant in a 9 cm pot. It was planted late spring 2017 and grew to about 30 cm by the end of the season. Last summer it sent up one or two flowering shoots and this year there are currently 6 ‘rods’.

    @edhelka I've had a Dierama for 3 years and this is the first year it has flowered.  I planted four of them but only one has survived.  I'm hoping that now it has established it will really take off.

  • I've tried for so many years trying to get some poppies in my garden, finally achieved some 🙂

    This is part of my wildflower experiment and hoping to collect seed so I can start turning s strip at the very back of the lawn into a wildflower area x

    @Picidae. I love the angels fishing rod.

  • Planted two dierama last year picked up the plants from our little corner shop for £2 each, love them. Flowering well this year they love this hot dry weather.
