  • What a lovely garden you have BirminghamMarc, I particularly admire your Lupins, they are so vibrant in colour.  I am just re-introducing Lupins into my garden, and hoping that the slugs don't decimate them this time around.

First sweet pea of the season. I can’t take any credit for it, though. It was a self sown escapee from last season’s flowering.

The seeds I sowed in the spring are about 10 days behind

Fabulous Perki, absolutely fabulous. But can you do anything about the white sacks at the end of your lawn?

Reality is healthy. Keep the sacks.

Thanks Picidae and fire , I thought the wider view would please other members who like a wider view of the garden. Unfortunately the ugly white sack cover a bright orange woodchipper so have to stay for now, one day I'll knock the shed down and build a pond and have the garden area all the way to the top.

Thanks for the general view pics of your garden, @Perki. Pity about the ugly sack at the back, but thanks for the explanation. Maybe try a camouflage cover of some kind?
