Send the showers this way please! We had some in the forecast when I checked this morning but they haven't happened, and the soil is far too dry for February.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
We had showers for most of the morning, the second compost heap was full so OH managed to prepare a third compost heap ready for use, he removed all the bags of horse manure from the compost bay onto the veg patch, so they will be ready to use in the coming months for the courgettes and squash plants.
Mostly sunny with odd cloud it has been lovely and warm on balcony this morning able to sit out and work the sun has moved round now but still pleasant sat eating lunch and having a coffee
Oh islander, that is awful, I really feel sorry for you as we are bathed in sunshine here - after 2 or 3 days of grey, this is most welcome. The air is so clear - there is virtually no wind and the greenhouse temperature is 23 degrees - too hot for me to work in. What a lovely scene you have there Philomena - where are you based?
