I am home and the washing is in (only slightly sprinkled with rain) and the rain is set to become heavier all night now.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Cool with heavy clouds this morning, some distant rumbles of thunder over lunch time but no rain here.  Now clear and bright with sunshine and a slight raise in temperature.  More rain forecast for the next few days.

Dry this morning but cooler. Rained hard all afternoon, which shows no sign of stopping yet.

The heavy stuff has arrived ... hammering down on the east-facing windows sounding really loud even through the double glazing ... lots of big flashes of lightning and banging and crashing of the furniture being moved around upstairs ... really glad I moved as many vulnerable seedlings and plants still in pots (including the toms) under cover.

7 degrees, grey, wet and windy. The garden looks battered :/
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
