Really cold in Texas the past week.  Near 0ºC at night all week.  Had to have my husband go out and protect sensitive plants and shrubs as I'm recovering from some abdomen surgery this week.  So I've stayed in bed or in my comfy chair enjoying winter from inside all week long.  Texas is supposed to warm up to some respectable nighttime lows of around 5ºC and daytime highs around 15ºC for the next five days.  My small rat terrier is pleased with the warm-up.  Lately she has been standing witha blank look on her face, as if we were crazy, when we opened it so she could go outside to do her "business".  She's not fond of near freezing temps.  :)

Heavy showers yet again, Have worked out we have had rain everyday for the past two weeks, not in biblical amounts all the time but enough for parts of the garden to be waterlogged.

Dry today. Allegedly 10 degrees but felt colder.
Your weather has cooled down rather quickly @PeggyTX. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

  • Dry all day - so far, and not a breathe of wind - about time and much needed here.
