I went to Nottingham Uni too.  I have loved it that Chicklet has gone there 30 years on, giving me lots of opportunities to go back and visit ....its a great place.  I lived on Derby Road itself ....the Park was seriously over anything my student grant would stretch to.  Our locals were The Happy Return (serious dive that has long since gone) and the Hand and Heart - where we ate on Saturday night.  Pleased to report that the Savoy cinema is still going strong too.

Big hugs for LG - shocking and upsetting to lose someone so young.

Hope Mr Hosta makes a rapid recovery - rotten when you’re ill on a holiday 😩

LG. So so sad, far too young .tragic for he family
We had a lovely Forker who was our chile expert.  She w as young and full of optimism, but she was ill.  Shame was she had just received a grant to expand her business, anyone remember, know her?  It was a short name I think
So here is OH slicing away, I chopped his head off incase anyone recognised him from Crimewatch 🤣🤣
leo his faithful is lying at his feet. You may spot three specs cases, this is me still trying!

we have enough for another two boilings, far too much so if anyone interested pm me

I'm sorry, I neglected to wish poorly and recovering people well. Glad you had a better night, Obxx. And I too hate tummy bugs, so it's good to hear both Liri and Hosta's OH are on the mend.

Did you know Sue and Annie in the Park, doc? Wouldn't that be funny?

Thanks for the the thoughts. She was well in September. Then not. It was so quick. If it's knocked me for six, goodness knows how her family must feel.

    Time for bed.

    Morning all.
Thanks for the kind wishes re Hubby. He's still not 100% but maybe a day at the pool will help. Not so if the nutters who were there yesterday return. One boy, around 3ish, has a "dummy" and constantly makes this oooo ooooo ooooo oooo ooooo noise, regular as clockwork, about ever second. Another woman was breastfeeding her little boy, nowt wrong with that , except he was about 3 as well. Is it just me who thinks that a bit odd?
