Mouse was keeping a low profile.....

    A very low profile indeed......

But there was no doubt that the free bar was a big success.

For once the cats have been stared out by the owls and they look confused about that🤔. Meanwhile, hedgehog carries on as normal 😀. Not surprised that mouse has moved on for the time being. Great photos Anni.

@AnniD What ever you are providing the cats find it very interesting. The bouncers look as though they are rolling their eyes upwards trying to ignore them. In the bottom photo far middle left are the two little "eyes" belonging to Mouse or just another owl? No wonder Mouse hasn't been around with your new visitors lurking about.

Decided to play in the garden before going shopping and this is todays pickings. I don't even like tomatoes but I have a glut of them all of a sudden:

@Fran IOM, both cats had a fair bit of water to drink before the hedgehog came along.
I must remember to make sure that the dish is filled right up, with this warmer weather forecast over the next few days.
The eyes in the corner are another solar owl 😊, l haven't seen Mouse on camera for quite a while.
Regarding your other question about Mr B, he hasn't reappeared yet, but there was a female blackbird ferreting around out the front yesterday morning so l'm hoping the birds will start to reappear soon.

@Purplerain, that's a fine tomato and runner bean harvest  :)
Are you going to give the tomatoes away, or force yourself to eat them?
  • Lovely,Anni.  No wonder mouse isn't around!🐱🐱

    Good Evening all,
@Purplerain That photo looks as though it has been taken from a cookery book. It all looks amazing. Bet those tomatoes taste better than what they offer in the shops these days. If you lived round the corner I would be asking for some.
@AnniD It's interesting to see what cats get up to when they are out during the night. At least they get a drink! Do you recognise either of the cats? Can't imagine why Mr B has disappeared.
The weather here certainly made a turn for the better. After a miserable start this afternoon was really hot. Was very surprised but pleased. Still struggling with the fuchsia hedge but more or less finished. Along the way was another fuchsia quite separate from the hedge which was completely out of control so that had to be cut down and next to it a Bay tree both planted in the wrong place in my naivety a couple or more  years ago. Because they had grown so much I found a heuchera I had forgotten about which needed to see the light. Helen Dillon I think. The fuchsia hedge is the bane of my life and hard to believe it started with little cuttings. When I have finished tomorrow I shall then have to start on the privet hedge but will just do a bit at a time. And still have the grass to cut.  :(  Both hedges are the length of the allotment.
Hope you managed to get out in the garden @Valley Gardener.
Think it's time to be thinking of sleep to prepare for tomorrow.
    Goodnight all.

  • You're right @Fran IOM@Purplerains arrangement of beans and Toms, looks very professionally arranged,I think it's the terracotta inside the bowl, very country garden! Both look delicious!

That's a lovely photo of Cush, and the pebbles are beautiful @Valley Gardener.

Thanks for the compliments on the tomatoes. As I am seeing family later, I plan to give them all away as I will never eat them.

    Enjoy this lovely day x

    Cush looks very comfortable
    Upon the bathroom floor.
    The coolest in the neighbourhood,
    That is Cush for sure.
    Some cats prefer the sofa,
    Some atop the door,
But Cush knows the best place to be
Is on the bathroom floor !

Love those pebbles @Valley Gardener, you are very talented  :)
