Thanks @Valley Gardener. My new ones are going in a different area and I must make sure that I give them enough room as I have seen some very big ones in other gardens. Those above were from a skip or an auction lot.
Thanks @Purplerain. Maybe roses tomorrow.... Do you know the name of the shrub next to the blue one? I had to prune that so it didn't overcrowd the hydrangea which is the result of my lack of knowledge of how much room each plant needs. That was a pound shop buy. Never expect anything I plant to be a success.
Good morning everyone Second cup of tea required this morning It is much cooler and we had some rain last night which has perked everything up. Three young blackbirds exploring the perimeter of the garden yesterday evening, the fearless leader, the fairly confident follower and the nervous one bringing up the rear, just like Private Godfrey in the opening titles of "Dad's Army". They were very entertaining to watch, particularly their attempts at re entry into the tree where Mr B lives. I think his feeding duties aren't over with yet ! I have heard a couple of goldfinches up on the roof and there was one having a drink from the bird bath earlier. I appear to be turning into the female equivalent of Bill Oddie, the same sort of shape, but without the beard 😁 Hedgehog food has disappeared so he appears to have regained his appetite. Apparently Homebase has a sale on, and is crammed full of bargains that OH wants to look at, so l may accidentally find myself in the garden centre area again. Hope everyone has a good day and looking forward to seeing more photos from @Fran IOM in due course. Laters x
Good morning all, slept a bit later today and only on first coffee.
The blackbirds must be sweet to watch, you will have to see if you can do a short video of them.
We are off to Homebase too, click and collect the chairs! Then on to Waitrose for Lemon Marmalade, can't seem to get it anywhere else, has anyone seen it in other shops?
Have a good day everyone, Hasta luego.....

Just a quick correction on the Achillia I posted. It's Saucy Seduction, not Sensation.
