So would I be in a normal week - gorgeous local butter here with big crystals of sea salt in it.  Yum! - but vegan it is till the 1st of Feb.   He can sneak some cheese and biscuits when she's not looking.

But presumably, Obelixx, it's just Possum who's insisting on vegan this month?  I'd be buttering my bread too... you can definitely take solidarity too far!   ;)

Oberlix ,is it a steak on 2nd Feb ?🥩 and a good bottle of Red 🍷 ( that’s what we are having tonight )
Vegiterian food can be very good and have always liked it but part of a balanced diet but I find Vegan a bit to strict but everybody to there own

I have to say if my daughters were coming and had decided to go vegan, I'd take them to waitrose, tell them to do their own shopping and cook whatever they liked when they came back.

Then munch your nice buttered bacon sarnie in peace :)
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I don't like tea -boiled dead leaves-, coffee or cow juice. But I am partial to coffee cake.
Hot drinks, to me, are purely medicinal to be taken if you have a cold😪😫😓
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I think I can show one week of solidarity to Possum while she finishes Veganuary but the smart restaurant is booked for lunch on the 1st of Feb and there will no doubt be a full British (Irish black pudding) before she goes back to Namur.   She has also asked for lamb.  I'm supporting her because she had got into a cake/cupcake/pancake/comfort food habit which isn't doing her any favours and needs kicking.

I love black coffee at home and proper cappuccino and occasional tisanes but not tea or instant coffee.

    Ginger for dodgy tums.
