Go for it M-U - whilst he's made the offer. I could do with one of those myself.

  • Hi everyone,
We've had a sort of lazy weekend on our own, although looking after OH hasn't been that lazy for me. Bless him, he's been really tired these last two days. I did pop out this afternoon too deliver the local Christmas cards and I felt quite knackered walking back home. So apart from look after OH I've done absolutely nothing this afternoon.
Two more weeks now and we won't have to go to the hospital every day. That in itself is tiring.
Hazel so very sorry to hear about your dad, hope nothing too serious and he gets better soon.

Sorry I haven't replied yet  to the PMs I've been  sent this week. I will reply later tonight. But thank you for your best wishes xx
Take care everyone, hope all coughs and sneezes get well soon xx

I know how tiring it is SGL.  I used to use hospital transport to get to my treatment,  OH came with me on Thursdays when I saw the oncologist.  With hospital transport you had to be ready 2 hours before your appointment time and could be waiting up to 2 hours afterwards to get home.

MU  I have been on late shift all week so when I get home from work you are all going to bed. I have been 'pondering' all weekend.

I'm looking forward to my time off work at Christmas,  we finish on the Friday before Christmas and go back on 2nd of January.

  • OH uses hospital transport some days too Pauline. And yes he has to be ready 2hours before too. I can't go with him those days, so I try to catch up at home or whizz to the shops to get stuff. There's not enough hours in the day lately.
I couldn't see two of the same posts Hazel......how weird

    Nighty night Pauline. Sweet dreams.
SGL, I drove every day to the hospital for my radiotherapy and it was very, very tiring. 40 miles each way. It all seems like a dream now. Your OH will get there and the pair of you will find the strength for this last two weeks. As well as your family, you have we Rezzers sending up positive thoughts for you both.
