I saw the lady who sells jams earlier too and got some peach and raspberry jam.

    It's so cold out!

Blimey, no wonder the washer wouldn't spin, everything ended up inside the duvet again. HOW?

    Evening.

Congratulations Hazel - busy few days for you now, but it will be good when it’s all done & dusted. We moved just before Christmas - it concentrated the mind in terms of getting 3 rooms sorted before the 25th. Just stuffed everything into the other rooms...

Stepping in dog poo is lucky isn’t it? Or is that getting sh*t on by a seagull? Done / had both - didn’t notice anything fortuitous afterwards though😁

    We’ve had another nice day.
Went to Filey. Thought I’d been before but - no - and much nicer than I thought it would be. Then to Flamborough Head - spectacular but too cold to walk around.
Then to Bridlington - as hideous as I remembered until I spotted a priory on the map and signs for the Old Town. So we drove over there and had a wander. It was really rather lovely and a million miles from the amusement arcades and run down shops in the main town.
When quizzed as to why Yorkshire lad OH had never taken me to that side of Brid before, he said it was because he had no idea it was there. Wonder how many more hidden gems there are in these parts. We’ll definitely be back when the weather’s a bit warmer.

Just been watching Supervet. Cried through most of it as usual. A lovely dog some b*st*rd had taken a machete to and then abandoned her on a beach. ‘nuff said - amazing story of medical expertise and the love of the owners who adopted the dog from a rescue centre.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

💐 to Hazel and Pansy, you have my sympathies.

Trip to Matlock has been cancelled - my friend's wife is away in Birmingham, and their son is ill so since her wife is miles away she's staying home with the poorly little one today.
