Rubee - Slightly tweedy, petrol blue, cable knit headband with fleece lining. Very nice quality. Will keep ears warm and hair out of my eyes when I'm gardening in the winter. Tend to get too hot in a hat but ears get cold if I wear nothing on my head.

Definitely smart enough for town wear so will also wear it under a waterproof jacket hood if it's cold and wet.

Hope your parcel turns up soon! Can you track it?

It would be good if a nose warmer could be incorporated into ear muffs.
Maybe I could wear a balaclava????

What a good idea Joyce . But you could end up looking like a pecking bird when you are weeding😁.

Me too Ruby and Joyce. I love my gardening scruff! Every hole in my jogging pants is a memento of a battle with either a rose or a bramble and the spots on my gardening fleece are 'scars' of wood preserving the back gate. Except that did NOT preserve the gate for too long and thats another thing I will have to add to my 'to do' list!

PF - that sounds so nice. All inside and warm and snuggly. Was that Ladybower Reservoir you showed us the other day?
Chey - you will miss his company for sure. Will you get together for Christmas?

The Strines Inn sounds just our cup of tea (pint of beer / tot of gin / whatever) Pansy.

Got very cross reading about the vandalism of the exposed drowned village at Ladybower. What on earth makes people want to do that?😡

The low water level is quite worrying though isn’t it?
