    Afternoon all - leaves cleared, compost bin filled - about to start steaming the Chr****as pud. That means steamed up kitchen windows for the rest of the day - too cold to leave one open.
    Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Back from the non-walk.  Fifteen folks turned up and we set off down the lane.  After ten minutes we decided to abandon it as it was lashing with sleet and impossible to see or speak.  We all trooped back to the club house for tea/coffee and biscuits and a natter.
    A much better idea.
