B****r!!! Wondered why I was feeling cold.  The central heating has gone on the blink. Engineer coming tomorrow afternoon. Luckily there is a gas fire in the sitting room.

Gawd. How many loo rolls did you buy T'bird?

Hear hear Joyce! Hopefully he'll find out the reason and get you all up and running again soon.
No Hazel - not done in the garden yet but there is no panic to get stuff done. The garden isn't going away and I'll just grab any nice day and do a little bit more.

I was quite shocked F'edge. So nice to see them especially at this time of year. Cheered me up to be honest as I'd just finished my tasks and was feeling very tired.

Blimey - I know we all struggle with the snuckering effect - but today is a new record for me. Something like a dozen posts have just suddenly appeared - all the ones about carols and gardening just weren't there before. Joyce's post asking where everyone was was the last one I could see.

Apologies if it seemed like I was ignoring you all.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Lovely folksy carols Pansy.  Hazel I'm glad your feeling a little better.  LB you were outside a long time in the cold, hope you were well layered and lovely pictures of your late flowering clematis.    Joyce I hope your heatings back on tomorrow.  I have a scheduled inspection for Wednesday.  They don't send letters anymore they call you direct which is helpful.  A cool day, waiting for warm slippers to arrive Wednesday.  Anninteresting programme about Japan's natural world this afternoon showing the landscape animals and cherry blossom.
