Lants I know how you felt trying to find your OH . I feel like that quite often when we go out . OH likes to browse, wanders  off when I am not looking and then it takes ages to find him.

Landlord has been round and coming back in the morning - water came out of the fire alarm!

Looks like a bit of damp on the wall too Chey.

A shopping trolley is useful for keeping you upright M-U.
I spent time this morning going through kitchen cupboards, noting down anything I might need in December and adding it to the ...sco list for later.
Lants, your OH needs to wear a high viz jacket when you go shopping.
Chey, I hope your ceiling doesn't crash down.

Haha 😂. It is a rabbit hutch Pansy, I've just given it a see-through roof for sheltering small plants in.

Great wreath LB. Looks very fiddly to knit though, well done 👍. Is there a wire frame inside to hold the shape?  Look forward to seeing it with its leaves and bits on😊.

Glad you survived the shop trip MU... sorry it took a hacking great cough to get the numpties to shift out of your way. Snuggle down on the sofa now with a blanket and a couple of mince pies 😋.

Hope you've dried out by now Joyce, I nipped out this afternoon and got pished wet through. Stay wrapped up inside Chey, it's rotten out there. How did you get to be up close with those creatures, was it a visit from the 'animal man' at school? My girls have done that, snakes, spiders etc...

Hi Fedge, being a handywoman suits me. As happy with my power tools as he is with his pots & pans in the kitchen 😁. # role reversal household.

Oh Lants, you've got a wanderer too 😩. I keep threatening to put out a tannoy announcement next time he does it. "Lost, one 53yr old man, most likely loitering near the meat fridge or fresh creamcakes". 😆

It was Kitty! Most people were too squeamish but I love animals.

Fedge - don't even get me started on the damp...

MU my aunt had some beautiful pear shaped warm coloured lights . I think they were still in use until she was in her nineties .
Speaking of the longevity of products . When we moved into our first house after we got married .There were hundred watt bulbs in the  sitting room .When moved out nine and a half years later ,the same bulbs were still in use.

Beautiful owls LB.  A cool day never far from a tissue, wet and windy.  Slippers arrived a day early so feet feel cosy.  Those poop pads are expensive Pansy, good idea but silly price thirty two pounds for poop pads  :/.      I agree with you, Kitty and Joyce about leaving old things alone rather than put them through trauma and unhappiness  :'(.  Dark very early this afternoon twilight at 3pm.

I like the aurora and cloud pics PF.  Wonder what the carrot-like "pincers" are.
