    Remember this Telegraph article?

Narcissist, fantasist or… psychopath? How Boris’s last days as PM showed his darker side

He says he's a victim of Westminster’s “herd instinct”, but is that just the PM's questionable personality traits? And how dark does it get?

I'm fuming.  For the fourth night in a row, at about 4am, some magpies congregate on the pear tree, the one closest to my bedroom window, and start their infernal racket, which goes on and on. Eventually they leave but so does my ability to go back to sleep.  If they think that's a dawn chorus, they need to be disabused; I'm looing for a gun!

Oh, dear Phaidra.  I do love a dawn chorus of most birds but the noise magpies make is dreadful, I agree.

Getting a gun (!!!) is a bit drastic though, isn't it; it might wake up ALL your neighbours.  ;)

I watched much of the Trooping of the Colour.  The king's horse almost gave me palpitations.

OH thought that the horse should've been given a light sedative!

Incredible! 289 cowards did not take part in yesterday's "partygate" sanctions vote; amongst them, the current leader of the "villainous" House of Slytherin.

AND 8 voted No!!!  All of them Tories, of course.

Of course, it's rather disgusting but not, exactly, surprising.
