    O, wow!

Thank you ALL very much indeed for your kind wishes.  I've been away all day, so didn't see any of these texts.  I had a wonderful time with family and friends.

Sam, I love Ode to Joy  ;)

Helen, though this is a significant birthday, the Queen didn't need to send me a card.  Next year, perhaps!  I believe she sent you yours a couple of years ago!!  ;)  Your cake is beautiful and those shoes "to die for"...

I'm looking forward to our sleepover and midnight feast.  Harry up, you need to be here by 12 midnight!  :D

A few years back, when I was in Edinburgh for the festival, I met a woman there and became fairly friendly and kept in infrequent touch.  She lives in Spain where she has her own business procuring British foodstuffs for British immigrants.

Every now and then, we send each other photographs.  After my return from Paris, I sent her a couple of Paris …without faces!  She has just replied, “Did YOU take these?”

I know she has an outrageous sense of humour but I’m thinking of a …suitable reply!  ;)

That’s funny!  I can think of a few replies but they would be unprintable!  :D

A similar thing happened to my grandson who sent this photograph to a teenage friend:

He told my grandson that he had used some mechanism- or other- which showed that picture  wasn't my grandson's!

The shoulder, arm and a bit of hair on the right, belong to his sister!

Hi B, are you addressing me or Artemis?  If it's me, then let me explain what I was told.  Apparently, there's a way of checking online the "authenticity" of photographs, ie. whether any particular picture was taken by the person who claims to've taken it.  The friend of my grandson, perhaps out of curiosity (??), did this and declared the picture not authentic!!!  In this ...non-authentic photograph you can clearly see my granddaughter's shoulder, arm and hair!

    Clearer, I hope!

Sorry if my first post was too laconic.  :(

      I'd never doubt it.
