Glastonbury = hypocracy writ large! David Attenborough praises them for banning single use plastics but most of the tents which were left behind are too badly damaged to be reused and will end up in landfill because the fireproof coating on them makes them unsuitable for recycling and potentially dangerous to incinerate. Add to that, there are hundreds of tons of other crap left all over the site. Very environmentally friendly - not.
I see what you mean, KT53, but even the banning of single use plastics helps the environment a little? A little has to be better than nothing at all though it shouldn't stop just there, of course.
