Lovely!  Lovely!  Lovely!  They complement the beauty of this glorious day.  But,

One of my favourite poems, but this "aeroplane taking off", though gorgeous, isn't quite The Windhover gashing gold vermilion...

I absolutely love these beautiful flowers.  Sadly my sea of blue and white in my back garden is receding fast as temperatures rise.

I hear the Tories are going to let the mere populace access a private hospital of their choice for their overdue procedures, to be paid for by the NHS.

All such long suffering patients, I'm sure, are relieved that they will receive the treatment they need, yet the Tories have systematically stripped the NHS of funds and staff, because "the tax-payer can't afford it", but it's all right to pay the private sector.

Since these are Tories, I fear kindness has nothing to do with it; it's just a poll-related gimmick.

So, is it too far fetched to think that giving "people" a taste of private treatment- instead of doing right by the NHS, which STILL EXISTS- is dog whistling of a rather sinister sort?

We all PAY for our NHS (though I have heard even medics say, "you get it for free") and we do appreciate it.  Those who don't, have always had the option to get private insurance.  So, it's time to do right by the NHS and the tax-payers who fund it.

    As expected.
