Much less pain today, Sam.  Thank goodness!

    Thank you for your card.

I knew those were parasols, not umbrellas.  :D

Much, much better, thank you Zoe.  In fact, shoulder to the wheel today, gently and in a manner of speaking!

Glad it's "gently".  The same today too? Not too enthusiastically, I trust!  :)

A bit of a difficult day for me.  A lady I know (walking dogs together) had a heart attack yesterday and is now in hospital.  Unfortunately, she has a 59 year old son who has mental health problems.  She's worried about him but he's very difficult to communicate with.  Really aggressive in manner.  He couldn't stop blaming his mother for her heart attack.
Last night, before going to bed, I phoned to make sure he was all right.  He said he was but then at about midnight he phoned to say he was afraid that someone had broken into his back garden.  It took about an hour to convince him it was probably a fox, or the wind.
When he got tired of talking, he went to bed; but sleep wouldn't come to me.
    I feel tired AND guilty.

That must be difficult but I thought your OH was a psychiatrist and able to help you in that situation; or am I thinking of Artemis' other half??

No, that's Helen's OH.  In fact, I believe one of her children is a clinical psychologist too.

At the moment, I think, Helen is sunning herself on some Mediterranean island.

Have you spoken with him today?

    Hopefully he is less frightened.
