But Bojo and his Brexiters promised us 40 new hospitals, £350 Million per week to the NHS and thousands more Nurses, so the NHS would stop being so fearfully understaffed!
Systematically defund the NHS, bring it to its knees, so it can't serve its patients as it should, drive people to dispair AND thus make it so much easier for the Public to let go of the most precious gift that Labour bestowed on them. With Privatisation in full sight, private insurance companies, that already exploit so much of our NHS, are now lustily rubbing their hands together.
I can see a few (understatement?) Brexiters, and others, rolling their eyes and tutting about what they, probably, imagine is the "politicisation" of the NHS.
Nye Bevan who?
Mind you, the Brexit poster boy is facing no opposition....
I heard on the radio yesterday that the cost of a hip replacement is at least £11,000. Sobering thought.
I know private insurance is common in certain countries. But we also know the limits of that "panacea", and how... well it works, especially in the US, where about 30million people cannot get health insurance.
If an insurance company cannot make money out of you, it will not insure you; the NHS will treat you whether poor or rich, chronically sick or just in a life threatening accident.

Martin Luther KingI much suspect that this is NOT a cunning plan. This is Government Policy.

It will, probably, wake up when all is lost.
