Would you buy it or not?

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
I am thinking of making what the shopping channels would call: 'a considered purchase ' ie probably overpriced and overhyped.
Anyway, whilst considering the purchase, I find that I am at odds with the company owner's politics.
Do I buy or not?

I'm afraid I don't understand the purpose of this poll.

    Don't buy
If no one else makes it, either you don't need it (i.e. no one needs it) or someone else WILL be making it (or something very like it) quite soon. So wait a while

It's a daft question.  Why would you give your money to someone you know is an arsehole and, if it's a bloody Dyson, there's defnitely something better thought out just around the corner.

If it was only his politics I didn't agree with, I would just buy it. If it was his morals - now that would be a different result.

OH chose one when our old Miele cylinder started having problems.  I loathe the bloody Dyson so much I have fixed the Miele which is far easier to use, store, empty and actually sucks up muck and pet hairs like it's supposed to!  Oh struggles with the bloody Dyson now but is more likely to get out the robot I insisted we buy for here.  Want to be outside playing, not cleaning.

If it’s only to amuse and delight, I wouldn’t buy it, it will be in the landfill in a couple of years.
Just owning a computer is my biggest guilt without buying things to amuse and delight.
