We will but a bit late so we can FF the ads.   I hope hubby's foot is better in time to enjoy strolls on the beach and dives in the pool.

Getting a bit blustery out there now but no rain.  I hope youhaven't been hit by the bad weather Busy.

It's been cold and it rained, Obelixx, but nothing like to the east of here and around the Massif Central, loads of people without electricity, snow.

We have wellies and winter macs at the cottage, Dove. Also heating and a woodburner and a winter duvet.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Beautiful poppies Pat.   I'm off to bed - late cos my brain has been churning so no point trying to sleep earlier.  See you later maybe.

This is the Iowa Crab I planted in memory of my late daughter, because it flowers close to her anniversary. 😊

Good morning all  :). G’day Pat  :). Lovely appleblossom ... a beautiful tribute  :). Lovely to see your garden blooming as our are gaping to sleep. Our first sharp frost of the winter this morning ... car windscreens are white.
Hope everyone had a restful night and has good things planned for today ...

Hi Dove. I don’t envy you your frost. It’s not long since ours finished, so we need a break. I wish it would change a bit more gradually so that we can acclimatise.

lovelly day, chilly but sunny blue sky no cloud.  Got an "alert" from Mumsnet saying these leggins from M & S were the most comfortable and best fit you would ever get.  I looked at them on-line, thought I would go to my nearest branch and try them on, in case I had postage and then the agro of sending them back.  Usually wear 10, could see looking at them, they were too small, tried on the 12, just went over my hips, then of course too big round the waist, cant wear belt, no loops, and the legs were SO tight they were like compression tights, horrible, £13.99, I went to Lidl, got 3 pairs of the thermal leggins, perfect fit,(size s) thought do I actually need thermal, it had been 18-20d, then it went down to 2d at night, 8d in the day, windy too, they are lovelly, so comfy and a perfect fit, AND I got 3 pairs for the price of the one, and have worn them all.
