Sorry Obelixx, I missed you there. No rain here still and there are fires all over the region after yesterday’s winds,
That Fire that started near Bemboka a couple of months ago is still out of control and after yesterday’s wind, is heading towards the coast - towards Bega. They can’t get into such rough country.

    Hi all.
Seem to have brought the Scottish weather home with us, wild and windy this morning.
There were lots of swallows still feeding young in Cairnbaan, fabulous watching their aerial acrobatics.
Some experts say that everything animals do has a purpose, but watching swallows convinces me that they sometimes fly for the sheer joy of it.
Was forced to pen a line [ sorry if you find it banal, but I liked it ]
    Swallows, swiftly summon summer.
Right off to order some seeds, as it will be time to sow soon.

Afternoon all. Posting from the train, still in Suffolk at the moment but Essex fairly soon. It sounds like there's a whole range of weather out there! Glorious here, yesterday and today, though cool in the shade or wind.

I don't *think* I saw your brother, Dove, but I did see some fields ;)
    Here's lovely Southwold yesterday:

Welcome back, punkdoc, I hope on balance that you had a better time than not.

Well done AR on dealing with your dad's dressing.

Lived in Colchester for six months over fifty years ago and daughter was born there.
Dry all day with a slight breeze bringing the leaves down.
@Fairygirl, I think LilyP may get more of a battering than I will but hope it misses all of us.
