    Evening all.
A very busy day here too. The other tree surgery company rocked up this afternoon with another load of chippings . :dizzy:
I reckon I've moved about 10 cubic metres today. Then my lovely neighbour came round with a trailer load of horse poo.
Today is the day of freebies.
    Devon.

Free horse poo is always good @Hostafan1 .... any luck with the trailer repairs?  Shame you're not nearer @WonkyWomble's workplace  :/

I gave up with the trailer. I've just barrowed it behind the polytunnel to top that up round there and moved some "down in the wood" with the barrow too. It was too nice a day to be online trying to find new suppliers, although I am simply procrastinating.

  • Has been a smashing day to be out in the garden hasn't it Joyce! Sounds like you have been busy too. 😊
Had dinner and bath and made packed lunches, back to work tomorrow, but not woking this weekend so only a four day week 😉
Hope you had a lovely holiday Flumpy, hope it won't be too chilly while your adjusting!
Thanks Pdoc 😊 nice to have tithe time top be back on here, missed you lot!
Ready for bed now, night all, night Dove 😊

A good day here too but not gardening for me tho Oh has been playing nicely.   Leccy man came and all is fine for him to start as soon as the tiler has done his thing.  Tiler hopes to get the shower tiled next week and the flat base laid for the floor tiles on the Friday morning so it's ready for floor tiles the following week.   We'll see.

Patchwork homework and then my first mosaic class followed by a slightly late dinner after putting the sprinkler on the Bintjes and squash patch.

Cool start and finish - jeans and socks now - but 20C in late afternoon.   I now have a rug to keep me warm while we catch up with Bake Off.

Glad you've had a good day Wonky.  Hope your beech tree is safe Pdoc.  Hope you're not suffering after all that pruning Joyce or you from the sudden cold Flumpy.

As I'm a beginner and can't draw for toffee, I've found images online and am adapting them so the first is a black cat, sitting on a wall with a full moon behind.   I've had some 20cm square pieces of marine ply cut to make bases and have sanded and oiled one that I started on today.  They'll end up being screwed to various supports around the garden if all goes well.  So far, I've drawn the outline on the wood, cut up lots of tiles and started on the pussycat outline.  2 hours go mighty quickly!
