Our window sills are only 3” wide Obelixx, so the pot wouldnt fit, unfortunately.

yes Fairy and Dove. You’d think I’d learn. The trouble is that the silly shops stop selling seedlings once Sydney and Melbourne have moved beyond selling seasons. They don’t make allowances for people in the colder climates, so it’s hard to find any decent ones by the time we can get them going.
What I usually do, is put seeds into a seed-raising contraption which has bottom heat,  and then move them on once our cold time has passed. Serves me right for being impatient.

    Hi all.
More heavy rain predicted for the weekend which is a bit worrying.
My mum still tells me off for some of my language, even though I consciously try to moderate it in her presence.
Hope your eyes are improving @Lily Pilly
Last nights GW made me realise I want [ need ] more Salvias.

    I see no ad @Lyn.
Hair cut, bargains bought in Waitrose, went to buy bird food, realised I'd left my card in Waitrose, went  back to collect it, paid for bird food and home. Flippin' 'eck I'm knackered. A cuppa and a bit of courgette cake needed now.

Re language ... having spent much of my adult life in stables, art studios and performance venues my language can, on occasion, contain an expletive ... when I volunteered at a youth club for youngsters with severe learning disabilities I found myself being seriously told off, by the youngsters ... much better behaved than I was :flushed:

A lovely, sunny autumn morning but with quite a nip in the air.

Hope you get a dry week Fairy both for doing "stuff" and getting away from it all.
Obelixx, I had no storm damage but some neighbours, round the corner, told me yesterday that a few large branches had fallen into their garden just missing their green house.  I hope LilyP has managed to deal with the fallen chestnut.
Hosta, I would love to see that ballet performance.
