Morning all/afties Pat - don't worry, I leave myself behind quite often... Hope you're not all being swept away in the rain down there in the south. ANyone building a boat? We've had enough rain for now thanks. Chilly night last night though, but calm and bonny this morning. Wonks - I couldn't think what you meant - had to scroll back. It was a reference to the 'deposits' the hogs have been making. I think by the time they get to my garden, they've eaten their own weight in grub, and...well...you know...nature takes it's course. I've just been out to see if they've eaten everything, as I could also see they've been having a dig around in the grass at the front. Hopefully that's a few leatherjacket larvae or summat!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Right, I need to get dressed to go and have my hair cut. Did I mention we're off to see Mathew Bourne's production of Swan Lake on Wednesday?? Mucho Excitemundo.
I think there was a lot of words my mother didn't know existed Hosta - mine don't visit here till much later in the night. There's a little bit of woodland much further up the road, and I think that's where they are through the day. Either that, they're in another garden which is very wildlife friendly, but nearer me. I always worry about that though - as they need to cross the road, and people drive like twots/twuts

Think we must’ve had very different mothers @hostafan
