  • @Vegplotmummy please may I have the Echinacea and you can have the alliums. I've just planted my first this year and I love them so I've now planted my second and third. I have seeds on order too....
😂 echinacea are apparently hard to keep alive in our weather, for over winter it can be cold and wet rather than just freezing cold. I think that's why I would like the challenge. They are lovely flower heads and great for bees. I don't think there is a national collection of them so let's go for it 👍

I seriously thought about creating a Ligularia collection as , the last time I looked, there isn't one.
Striking plants, part of the sunflower family? I say go for it!

That is why I always let half of them self seed and then collect some too as they are so low in germinating numbers @Vegplotmummy.😀

Hydrangea for me. Nothing beats them !

  • Hemerocallis, although with over 80,000 named hybrids they would need a lot of space!

Agastache or the dark foliage Dahlias for me (already one of these, met the chap at Hampton Court - he was on one of the coverage shows)

Well I never!!! Didn't realise there were more than the two you see in GC @Obelixx . Some of them are lovely, not fond of pink flowers, but what a range of size/colours. Why don't GC stock more varieties.😊😲😍

I can’t resist collecting seeds, (as Hostafan will verify) I have so many aquilegia plants here as I can’t resist a seedhead,  every one germinates.  It’s decision  time now, plant out or compost, just how many aqui plants can one girl plant out😀

Probably salvias for me. Though I don't have very sunny gardens so they wouldn't do very well. Endlessly fascinating, though. So many wildly different types, aromatics, colours, habits.
