  • We have it here Lizzie - torrential rain which has just started.  The rain we need, but with gale force winds that we don't.  This weather was forecast, I hope there are no boats out in this.

    Wet and windy now.
  • The good old BBC have got the local weather wrong for the last two days not for the first time.
Storm for last night and heavy rain flooding storm damage amber warnings we had a blustery night with a drop of rain.
This morning heavy rain and strong winds, we have bright sunshine and not a breath of wind :/

That's because they've changed to the meteo group.

Morning all sunny and light wind temp 9 to 12c
  • At bedtime last night the rain was hammering on the windows here, all bright & sunny now but wet underfoot.

Last night heavy rain , nice and sunny to day - Lincoln
off to see FA cup match Lincoln City FC v Northampton
  • @Logan, I don't really care who they use or what. It is supposed to be a local forecast for my area and they cant get it right.

I have checked different areas / post codes this morning on their site and for all of the south coast they give the same forecast so how can that be local its just another rip off from the BBC.

  • What an awful night - the wind was howling, the rain was lashing and there was much debris but thankfully nothing structural to clear this morning. A dull, dry and breezy day.  Is this calm just a lull?
