Sunny again. The garden is full of bees and butterflies. The hebe has gone into full bloom again and the mahonia are flowering. Verbena b, bowles mauve and borage are all going strong so it's pollinator heaven out there. Even the hanging baskets still look good. It's going to be a comedown next week when the clocks go back and the cold kicks in. No more evening walks in the woods :/
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Morning all light cloud and gentle breeze temp 8 to 13c
    Sunrise 7.50
    Sunset 17.53
  • Foggy and a bit grey 5° the heating came on for the first time in part of the house last night,
The forecast is for dry again today so a bit of pond clearing, maintenance and some general clearing and tidying of remaining flower and rose beds I think.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

The Sun still keen on being out and about as we head into the tail end of the week. Forecast shows a very chilly Saturday morning here, so I will bring the tender pots onto the back porch. Not looking forward to next week’s sunset times...
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Sunny, still and a bit chilly this am, early ups again next week I guess - after the 'shorter' weekend  :/

  • Cloudy, calm and mild this morning - sunny and warm this afternoon - no wind.  However the clouds are coming from the North and now the sun has been obliterated by them.

Still comparatively mild, but very grey and overcast (Glos). Finished the last of the cutting back and loaded up the coldframes before the colder weather. Down to 3.9 degrees in the greenhouse last night. Know what you mean about the sunset times @AuntyRach .
