Lucky you @GWRS and OH! I love fascinators, very versatile and complimentary to us women of a certain age  ;)  hope you both have a wonderful time. Still no rain here, they have been lucky.

It's been horrible all day here, heavy rain and strong winds. Eased off a bit early afternoon but has now started again -it is mild though. Did mean I could watch the royal wedding without feeling guilty though, so pleased it didn't rain in Windsor as wouldn't wish that on any bride. P.S I loved most of the hats!

Like you Lizzie, l probably wouldn't have watched the wedding if the weather had been better. I thought she looked lovely, liked the dress and especially the Art Deco tiara. Hoped the weather would improve a bit, but no chance. Had to go out to rescue a pot full of dahlias that had blown over. It weighed a ton, so it shows the strength of the wind. More rain, and it's getting really dark. Will have to change the timers on the lights again. Hope everyone is escaping any major problems.
  • Dry all day, with some sunshine and very strong winds - very mild - no coats needed. I wonder what tomorrow will bring weather wise.

Very fresh out there tonight! Lawn covered with apples and leaves.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Same here GD very strong wind but mild, even warm, all a bit odd as I always expect the wind to be cold. In fact it's warmer outside than indoors at the moment,
