Good morning. Minus 3 here this morning. Fire is lit, the bird feeders filled up, chickens fed and calves caked. Even managed to polish the coal bucket. Sunny and wind blowing now. Not going to be above 1 or 2 degrees today with the wind chill. Brrr.
There was a light frost last night but sunny and crisp now, it'll be time to break the ice on the birdbaths soon, swap t-shirts for jumpers.............

After a lovely sunny, dry spell the rain has started again in earnest this morning, and looks set that way for the next week, so that’s my hedge cutting on hold again. Early mornings and nights are getting quite parky and the central heating has come on.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
It has turned into a lovely sunny day - cold northerly wind, but dry and bright. No frosts here, no dew either, but just 9 degrees this morning, warmer now with the sun brightly.
It's cold and windy here, but it was sunny this morning. Temp at 9 am was only 2.5 but got up to 6 by lunchtime. I'm a fairweather gardener only, so no outside for me today!
