This thread has become proper cheerful since the rain came and the temp dropped below 20C  :)

It's lovely and sunny here but cool enough to do some 'proper' work in the garden, blue sky, rain forecast for this evening, just what you need. Now, more harvesting? More weeding? Finish sorting the compost? It's just wonderful to have a choice of activities and a more interesting conversation about the weather!

Have a great day everyone  ;)

Blue sky’s and sunny but cooler , a nice gardening day  :)
  • Lovely blue sky, sunny morning, but heavy clouds to the south of us this afternoon, sun gone, will it rain - I do hope so.

Just had a 10 minute shower here on the Hants coast.
  • Dave Humby we have clouds to the south and rain coming down from you in the north, so does that mean rain is a definite or will it fizzle out across the Channel?

A wet morning but beautiful, sunny afternoon.  Ideal for the garden.

It's been sunny and warm, mid 20s in Dordogne for the last few days, cloudy yesterday, pouring rain today. But that's good, garden needed it badly.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Just a perfect day! The forecast rain arrived about an hour ago but not before I had gathered two bowls of tomatoes and offloaded a bowl and a jar of dill pickles onto my neighbour (both bringing in our washing  :)  ) now, just have to pickle the last lot of cucumbers as its still raining, so happy!
