Seem to be the odd one out here. I am welded to my computer, iPhone and Kindle. Love gadgets. Just got an echo dot for my birthday. It is brill!! Just ordered a new computer so I am going to be superfast soon. Technology is brill (when it works!). Sorted out my very curmudeonly behaviour from the other night. I have attacked today with gusto and making progress. My world has tilted back on its axis again. Hurrah!

Given that I have a house and a garden and a life outside of them I find life is too short to spend it glued to a device. Emails and this forum are for communications and one or two fave websites for info plus google.
I text only when I'm a long way from OH and it's cheaper than phoning. FB is for messaging with Possum and, very occasionally, with other family members and friends.

They're rolling out fibre optics across the Vendée but we are probably last to get it being rural and a teeny hamlet so not urgent. Higher populated areas and business get first dibs.
