I think you can be killed in an accident or in a bomb blast or a family/neighbour dispute  Assassination is deliberate against an individual and usually involves a paid assassin?  It can be anyone, celeb or not.

Very grumpy today.  My Kindle has died.  Won't charge and won't open after initially just saying it had no internet link.   I suppose we need to try and find some tech support from Amazon.  OH can do that when he gets back from golf.  I'm off to paint walls.

Hold the top middle bottom down hard for a long time about 30 seconds should do it.

Usually if gadgets won’t charge its the fault of the lead, we’ve been through loads of leads, can’t find one that lasts more than a few months.
As B3 says, a complete Power Off, works for iPads as well.

Thanks.  I'll try that - when I find where he's put it.

I can't blame this on the heat but feeling very curmudgeonly at the moment as I can't work out why something  is happening on my new iphone! It's an apple SE and when I send an imessage, I still see it ( my message) in the Messages inbox, instead of previous replies, grrrrrrrr! Have spent some hours researching this but no one seems to have the problem. I can't find out how to get it working right.😡
ah, one of the joys of never sending text messages. ;)

How wonderful! Being committed now, I have to try and keep up with technology!
I keep up with technology but only when it suits me. Too many just jump on every passing bandwagon.  I'm sure many of those who rave about Twitter and Instagram used to rave about Bebo and My Space, back in the day.
