Done that Obe, well almost, many times shot straight past my road on the way to where I lived previously.
OH has just set out to walk to Brentor Church, was a time I would have done that and did when I had the dog, this time I refused, I don’t think I could do the 8 mile round trip now. 😢

I’ve always said that getting old is something that happens to other people😀

I wish my body was ten years older than my mind. My mind is still in my 20s but I preferred my 30s

Not that I'm complaining, has anybody seen any hairy bittercress this year.
I'm assuming  it's the weather but I thought it was the kind of plant that would survive the apocalypse.
I've seen it growing in a bucket of water and a pile of dry sand and every environment in between.

It flowered and exploded so quickly in the heat we just didn’t see it!

Weeded out masses of it in the spring before the perennials got going. Once they get cut back I fully expect to see it again.

That's one thing about the drought, the weeds suffered too. Geum urbanum wasn't much in evidence either but I'm sure the seeds are lurking in the soil.

I just pulled a load of bittercress out of some pots. That wretched red clover/oxalis whatever it's proper name is, doesn't seem to mind hot, cold, wet, dry, or any of it can't get rid of the dammed stuff!!
