    I'm sure they still play Sailing By at about a quarter past midnight, before the Shipping Forecast ... I'm sure I've heard it recently ...

    I used to like that one too and all that north utsire, south utsire stuff. The perfect lullaby - but I don't stay up that long now!

    We have R4 and the World Service on quietly ... the radio turns itself off when I’m asleep 
    OH has earplugs anyway cos he’s such a light sleeper that the hedgehogs snuffling about on the terrace wake him up.

    Agreed, Waterloo might have been more appropriate but then there are those who think the Brexit Agreement will shred itself as soon as it's been signed  :)
