Fangs!!!   I just pick them up and put them outdoors.

Had to train myself to pick up worms to rescue and slugs to squish - don't like gooey, oozy, slimy things so have to find ways to deal with them.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Sorry about PA. Have you tried hypnosis?

What do you think they stick in their prey to suck out the innards.  People laugh but they also laughed the year the ladybird population exploded then didn't when they were bitten. I react to mosquitoes bites so am wary of anything that bites.

It's got to be a pretty bad phobia if a photo of a plastic spider gives you the shakes :/
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

It's that and Obelixx who's phobia cannot just appear anywhere in the house every day on anything that is moved ( like the food delivery bag I picked up yesterday and a medium sized one ran out from)  most people won't understand unless it's something that they dayly have to confront. Most dangerous phobias can be avoided, but others cannot it's the superise/ shock that gets me more than the actual spider and that cannot be avoided or got over.

I hope you find something that helps. It sounds like a horrible thing to live with.

When we had a dog and a couple of cats,it was revolting to see a spider leg or two hanging out of their mouths :s . But it solved the disposal problem I suppose.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'm not sure that 'fear of danger' is related to phobias. I have two, and no I'm not telling you what they are, but I don't think that either one is going to attack/kill/maim or harm me. They just give me the complete heebeegeebees! I live alone and in the absence of someone to scream at I just have to woman up and deal with it! Thankfully I'm ok with spiders and creepy crawlies but one of my HBGBs makes my flesh crawl and the other makes my heart race and gives me sweaty palms. It's also a huge part of everyday life so I just have to lump it!
