    Oh yes :) ... I used to live in Suffolk very close to his place ... as you say, a very sad loss.  

    The BBC tv oc on Wild Swimming was wonderful ... I suppose it was a few years ago now ...

    Was so looking forward to this eclipse. We won’t ever see this again this century. 
    is to last 4 hours, and Mars is so close to it. 
    We did need the rain though, useful drop, all butts brimming and more to come.  Just wish it had started tomorrow and not last night.

    We've had a couple of showers, but not enough to fill up the bird bath,never mind water butts.
