Supermarkets sell tobacco, alcohol, sanitary products, pet food, children's clothes, dyed flowers etc etc and I manage to leave without my trolley being stuffed with them.
Only gullible folk buy stuff just because it's there or they've seen it advertised.
    If I don't need stuff, I don't buy it.

Do you think that those who celebrate 07/04/18 realise they are marking a British defeat? Personally I think the Americans have it sorted, peaceful revolution, they take over the world using TV, Hollywood and youtube, my grandsons already talk about trash and trucks and a whole lot else. Can't we fight back? I just don't think 'Victoria' is going to be enough!

very true, but there are a lot of people out there who can be persuaded that the word 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary

I fight against the force of advertising (although I am a sucker for pretty packaging sometimes) but if I can't see chocolate cake I can't eat it. Maybe the same works for customers seeing plastic tatt. If it wasn't there they couldn't buy it. That's what did for the fur trade in this country and 'they're' hoping it will work for cigarettes. No see, no smoke.

Is that why  SOME, not all, women seem to fall for " active lipasones" and " pentapetyde" nad " fights the seven signs of ageing "  " removes the signs of up to 3 months of damage " and " serum" and  " 95% of women agreed " other such fake science nonsense in cosmetic ads?
