We had 3.287 rain drops. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and all the rain water butts will be full. A bit like going to bed when you're a child and there are a few snow flakes falling - will it all be gone in the morning, or will it white-over?

All dried out now but we did have several really heavy bursts. Obviously nowhere near enough for the garden  but I fancy that i can see a slight green tinge to the brown lawn...

High wind forecast for London for tomorrow. Poor sunflowers. I will tie them in. Again.

I find this obsession with butts slightly disturbing. :/

I live on a hill and many neighbours have, unnecessarily - there never was a parking problem, put Zen car parks in their front gardens. Today I watched the precious rain cascade down the road to be swallowed up by the drains and end up in the sewers. I wish councils would enforce regulations concerning parking spaces.

"  what does this emoji mean?"

I take it to be sending kisses. Perhaps "I've just had lip implants and now look like Angelina Jolie". Or "I licked a frozen lamp post to see what would happen and now I'm stuck. Please send help".

    Not sure.
