Yes, anything that needs self assembly can be unnecessarily complicated, frustrating to work out what goes where from the diagram and then you have a screw left over at the end!
My hideous levels of OCD mean I spread all the contents out and count/tick them off against the list provided. Often there are extra screws supplied. Maybe the expect us to suck one up with the hoover , or the dog will run off with one ??

I'm sure he's going to feel suitably punished and struggle to find the £2000 fine , given that he earns £400,000 a year.

Isn't it time that when folk , all folk, get fined, their wealth is a factor in the fine? eg. fines should equate to X number of weeks or Y number of months' income?
He earns almost 4 times that fine every week.

@hostafan1 I wish I had your methodical approach, that's probably why I have had spare screws! :)
Mm, but possibly hosta is the one with the loose screws.

    Anyway

I can't get my head around how ANYONE can earn the sort of money footballers do, let alone someone who just runs around a park. It makes me really curmudgeonly that those people who the other day ran towards the potential bomber in London probably have to work for a few years to make what a top footballer gets in a week

I'd bet the police pay a much higher percentage of their wages in tax too.

  • Many years ago as an apprentice building and servicing marine engines and generators  we would have to strip the unit down to its component parts then reassemble and you could be sure at the end there were always one or two nuts or bolts left.
Never did know or work out where they came from.  :/
