I know @Ruby12 ... I've been active all my life ... used to have a smallholding ... then before my thyroid problem was diagnosed I snapped my anterior cruciate ligament in my knee whilst on a trampoline ... I've had to be careful ever since then as sometimes it just drops me on the ground without warning ... it did it again last summer ... I was in the garden and OH was at work ... I broke my foot which meant that I was laid up most of the summer and of course that led to problems with the other knee ... do be careful of your joints, knees in particular ... being hypothyroid can damage ligaments they've told me now

I didn’t know that Dove . Thank you for the information. Poor you ,that must have been very painful . I hope that you are feeling a lot better now.I do get bursitis in my knees . I don’t know weather that is part of the same problem . However , everything i checked on the internet relating to my health seems to be linked to hypothyroidism.
A lot better now @Ruby12 thanks ... although I do have to be careful on uneven ground and slopes ... hypothyroidism is a good excuse to be curmudgeonly ... it does seem to affect a lot of stuff
