It's the West Midlands.  We've had temps of between 28 and 31 degrees C since Monday.  It's supposed to get well over 30 tomorrow, 28-ish on Friday and then drop to a 'cool'  (according to the weatherman!) 23 on Saturday.   23 isn't what I call cool but I can see what he means.

Currently 27°C in Manchester, yesterday it reached 30°C 😧.
The weather up in northern England and Scotland has been unseasonably warm and dry for weeks now. I've had very little rain since the end of April, maybe two light showers and one downpour that didn't last long. We're just not used to it 😲.

Like hogweed, I've never had to water as much to keep the garden alive and find 20° much more comfortable.

We've been really dry as well.   We had a thunderstorm a few weeks ago which slammed down rain but not very long.  That's been long drunk by the plants.  Even the boggy bit of my garden which is always wet is now almost dry.  The other side, the ground is hard and cracked, even with the watering I'm doing.

Just looked at the long term weather forecast and hardly a drop of rain forecast for the next month with temps here  (Lincolnshire) no lower than 20 and up to 23

28 in London. I love the warm evenings. I sat out in a courtyard garden last night with my gardening group. Surrounded by J's roses, next to a fountain playing, drinking wine and enjoying the swifts calling above. Heaven.

I’m with @Marlorena. It’s the dryness that’s of concern. Very hot weather usually results in thunderstorms by the third day. I wish that were the case now.

I have no idea what the temp is here in E Berks (and I don't really want to know) but this is definitely how I'm feeling!

Sharing a link to a BBC temperature calculator I bookmarked a few weeks ago.

A bit of fun to compare temps😀. Mine matches Bangkok, Thailand 😆.

I love the hot weather and to me there is no such thing as to hot. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the water bill as my butts have long since been used up and I water the garden every morning with the hose. I have even started emptying my washing up water over the pots by the patio door.

Accuweather's forecasts make me snicker. They suggest that the weather on Monday will be nice, beautiful or lovely. I guess a forecast of 'nice' is pretty easy to get right. I don't suppose farmers would have much truck with Accuweather. I'm not sure the service is particularly 'accu', but they do give daily forecasts for two months down the line, which does give a sense of rather comforting false security.
